1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to www.gulf-pride.com and to the personal information Gulf Pride Paving & Civil Contractors ("Gulf Pride," "we," "us," "our") collects through this website, our web forms, our email correspondence, and our phone and text communications that begin through this website.

It does not apply to information collected offline outside of those channels, to personal information you provide directly to a third party through that party's own website, or to employment records governed by a separate employee privacy notice.

This policy is effective as of August 21, 2026. When we make a material change we update the "Last Updated" date above and note the change in our internal version history.

2. Who We Are

Gulf Pride Paving & Civil Contractors is the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Under the GDPR, we are the data controller for that information.

Gulf Pride Paving & Civil Contractors
10210 Logan Cline Dr, Gulfport, MS 39503
Privacy contact: info@gulf-pride.com(please put "Privacy Request" in the subject line)

We are a Mississippi-based contractor serving the U.S. Gulf Coast. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer and have not appointed an EU or UK representative; privacy questions go to the contact above.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Information you give us through our forms

Our Free Estimate form and Contact form collect the following, and we use each field as described in Section 4:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your mailing address and/or the project site address
  • Project details you describe — service type, scope, timing, square footage, site conditions, budget notes, and any files or photos you attach
  • Whether the request is commercial/civil or residential

Careers and job application information

Our Careers pages route applications to a third-party application form. Through that form and through any resume you send us, we receive your name, contact details, work history, qualifications, certifications and licenses (including CDL status where relevant), and anything else you choose to include in your resume or cover letter.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through this website. If a later stage of hiring requires that kind of information, we collect it directly from you at that point under a separate notice and consent — never through the initial application form.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it (city/region level)
  • Device type, operating system, screen size, and browser type and version
  • Pages you view, the order you view them in, time on page, and scroll depth
  • The referring website or campaign that brought you here
  • Date and time of your visit

Cookies and analytics data

We use Google Analytics (Google Tag, measurement ID G-PC1KN6EL4H) and the cookies and identifiers it sets to measure site traffic and understand which pages and services visitors engage with. See Section 5 and our Cookie Policy.

4. How and Why We Use It

We use personal information only for the purposes below. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for each purpose is listed with it.

  • Responding to estimate and quote requests — preparing pricing, asking follow-up questions, and sending you a proposal. Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
  • Scheduling and performing work — mobilizing crews, coordinating site access, and communicating about job timing. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • General communications — answering questions you send us by form, email, phone, or text. Legal basis: legitimate interests in responding to inquiries.
  • Recruitment — evaluating applications, contacting candidates, and maintaining a candidate pipeline. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to an employment contract, and our legitimate interest in hiring qualified crews.
  • Marketing follow-up — following up on an open estimate, sending seasonal maintenance reminders, and sending occasional updates about our services. Legal basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest in marketing to existing and prospective commercial customers. You can opt out at any time — see Section 11.
  • Site analytics and improvement — understanding traffic, diagnosing errors, and improving page speed and content. Legal basis: consent where required for non-essential cookies; otherwise our legitimate interest in maintaining a functional website.
  • Legal, safety, and record-keeping — complying with law, keeping contract and bid records, and establishing or defending legal claims. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile visitors for that purpose.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: strictly necessary cookies that make the site work, a preference cookie that records your cookie-consent choice, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics that measure site usage.

Analytics and advertising cookies are switched off until you turn them on. You can accept all, reject everything non-essential, or choose category by category in our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time with the link in the footer. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings too, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

For the full list of cookies, their purposes, and their lifespans, read our Cookie Policy.

6. Who We Share Data With

We disclose personal information to service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we specify. We share by category as follows:

  • Website hosting and CDN — serves this website and processes server logs including IP addresses. We use Lovable (which hosts the site on Cloudflare infrastructure) and Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives your IP address and browser signals to distinguish real visitors from bots when you submit a form.
  • Email delivery and CRM — stores your form submission and delivers our replies and follow-up messages. We use GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.) as our CRM and email/SMS platform, Resend for transactional email notifications sent to our own team, and Supabase for the database and the private file storage that holds plans or photos you attach to a bid request.
  • Analytics providers — measures site usage. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PC1KN6EL4H) and the GoHighLevel website tracking script. When you complete a form we send a conversion event to Google and, where an advertising tag is active, to Meta. These non-essential tags only run after you consent through our cookie banner.
  • Recruiting / application platform — job applications submitted from our Careers pages are handled by the GoHighLevel hosted application form and stored in our GoHighLevel account.
  • Professional advisors and insurers — attorneys, accountants, and insurers, where needed for a specific matter.
  • Legal and successor disclosures — law enforcement or regulators when legally required, and a buyer or successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not hand your contact details to unrelated companies to market their own products to you. Analytics and advertising partners are different: when you allow those cookies, they receive online identifiers and internet activity and may use it under their own terms, which some state laws treat as a sale or sharing. Section 9 explains that and how to opt out.

Our vendors are U.S.-based companies and we ask them to store our data in the United States, but some of them (notably content-delivery and analytics providers) operate global networks and may process data in other countries. Where information about visitors in the EEA or UK is transferred, those vendors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved transfer mechanism.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and then for any additional period the law requires or allows. We do not publish fixed schedules here, because the right period depends on the record and on obligations that change.

We decide how long to keep information based on:

  • Estimate and contact form submissions — kept while we are responding to your request and for as long as we may reasonably expect further contact about that project or a related one.
  • Customer and project records — kept for as long as needed to service the work and to meet warranty, tax, accounting, insurance, safety, and legal-claim obligations, including applicable statutes of limitation and record-keeping rules.
  • Job applications — kept for as long as needed to evaluate your application, to consider you for later openings, and to meet applicable employment record-keeping obligations.
  • Marketing contact details — kept until you opt out, then kept on a suppression list so we can honor your opt-out and so we do not contact you again.
  • Analytics and advertising data — kept for the retention window configured with each provider, which is set in that provider's own settings and may be changed by us or by the provider.

When information is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer be linked to you. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you or ask us to delete it, using the contacts in Section 14.

8. Security Measures

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption of traffic to and from this website using HTTPS/TLS, access controls that limit personal information to staff who need it for their work, use of reputable vendors with their own security programs, and routine review of the accounts and systems that hold customer and applicant data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers through our website forms.

9. Your Privacy Rights

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

  • Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — direct us not to sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), sent by your browser or extension, and we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request for that browser and device.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — direct us to limit use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide our services. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will verify your identity before acting on a request to know, delete, or correct, and we will respond within the timeframes the law requires.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Gulf Pride does not sell your personal information for money, and we do not offer financial incentives tied to your data.

We do use analytics and advertising technologies. When those tags run, online identifiers, cookie IDs, and internet activity such as the pages you view can be received by Google, Meta, and similar advertising and measurement partners. Several state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" broadly enough that this activity may qualify, even though no money changes hands. We disclose it here rather than claim it never happens.

You control it. Analytics and advertising tags are switched off until you turn them on, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time with the control, also linked in the footer of every page. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser or extension as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for that browser and device, and we apply it automatically. You can also email us using Section 14 to opt out.

Residents of the EU, EEA, and UK (GDPR)

  • Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure — have your data deleted where the grounds in Article 17 apply.
  • Restriction — have processing restricted while a dispute about accuracy or lawfulness is resolved.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Portability — receive data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Complain to a supervisory authority — lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Other U.S. states

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out. We extend the rights described above to all site visitors regardless of where they live.

To exercise any right, see Section 14.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is directed at commercial property owners, managers, contractors, and job seekers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@gulf-pride.com and we will delete it.

11. Marketing Communications

Email

Every marketing email we send identifies Gulf Pride as the sender, includes our physical mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by replying "UNSUBSCRIBE" or by emailing info@gulf-pride.com. We process opt-out requests within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. Transactional messages about an active estimate, contract, or scheduled job are not marketing and continue regardless of your marketing preferences.

Calls and text messages

By providing your phone number on one of our forms, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Gulf Pride about your request, including calls placed with an autodialer or prerecorded voice where applicable. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. To be added to our internal do-not-call list, call (228) 338-2835 or email us. We maintain that list in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Text messages come from our business line, (228) 338-2835. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts, including messages sent with automated technology, is separate from any service request and is never a condition of getting an estimate or of purchasing anything from us.

13. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our practices, our vendors, or the law change. When we do, we revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes — such as collecting a new category of personal information or using it for a new purpose — we post a notice on this page for at least 30 days and, where required, obtain your consent before the change takes effect.

Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact Us / Exercise Your Rights

To ask a privacy question, or to exercise any right described in Section 9, use any of the following. Tell us which right you want to exercise and give us enough information to locate your records.

We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (CCPA/CPRA) or one month (GDPR), extending only where the law allows and telling you if we do.
